Victory sports club departed last night to face Singapore’s Home United in their third game of this year’s AFC Cup. A total of 18 players and seven officials travelled to the game that will be played on next Wednesday.Victory has won only one point in two games so far in this year’s tournament. The first game played away from home ended 1-0 in favor of Malaysian outfit Kedah, but the reds grabbed their first point against Hong Kong’s South China in Male’.
Victory opponent Home United has won two of their encounters and scored 8 goals so far.
Meanwhile, Singapore Armed Forces FC (SAFFC) arrived Maldives last night to face New Radiant in their AFC cup game. New Radiant, a semi finalist of 2005’s tournament, is at the bottom of their respective group and is yet to win a point
